As a species of colonial stony coral in the family Pocilloporidae, Seriatopora hystrix is commonly referred to as thin birds nest coral due to its bushy clump formation. It can be found in shallow water on fore-reef slopes or in sheltered lagoons, with its native range spanning East Africa, the Red Sea, and the western Indo-Pacific region. Colonies of Acropora florida, also known as Branch Coral, feature thick upright branches that may grow horizontally from a sprawling or encrusting base.  Understanding the importance and having a strict sense of obligation regarding coral reef ecosystems and their ecology, our coral pieces are sustainably & ethically harvested via coral farming or "aquaculture".
