Golden Calcite from Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee

Lustrous transparent deep golden calcite crystal on matrix. Large double terminated scalenohedral twinned on the C-axis with well defined re-entrant faces. Small sphalerite crystal embedded on the back of the specimen.
