Genuine Plesiosaur mauritanicus (Dinosaur) tooth from Upper Cretaceous, Phosphate Beds, Beg'aa at Kataoua, Morocco. This specimen comes in a labeled display box with color image and a brief written description. These make amazing gifts as they come perfectly displayed and labeled.

Well preserved tooth of a large dinosaur aged, marine reptile Plesiosaurus mauritanicus. It's just under 2  inch long and was collected from the phosphate mines near Khourigba, Morocco.

Plesiosaurs where long-necked marine reptiles with four flippers that appeared in the Triassic and died out along with the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous period. They reached quite larges sizes, some species as long at 17 meters, and caught slow moving prey. Plesiosaurs breathed air, and bore live young; there are indications that they were warm-blooded.
