Unusual, space exploration meteorite colored coin. Muonionalusta meteorite is a type IVA (Of) octahedrite, thought to have impacted northern Scandinavia over one million years ago. Initially described in 1910 by A.G. Högbom and named after Muonio River, Muonionalusta was first discovered in 1906 and is estimated to have fallen 110,000 years ago.
