Genuine Natural Sand Dollar Cluster (Scutella stelatta) in Matrix

This beautiful French fossil echinoderms covers its yellowish and undulating matrix with "dunes" mimicking the ancient ocean floor. The smooth discs feature a natural floral pattern atop the gradually sloping domes of these round invertebrate fossils. An impressive specimen for its decorative appeal alone, this grouping represents three very nice fossils. Miocene Period, 19-15 million years old.
